I will need to do more work before I can make this kind of artwork.

She used  beautiful fall stamps from Mark's finest papers then colored with copics and cut them out with spellbinders dies. You can find the tutorial on Split Coast resources.  Again great work, go check her out.

I made and sent this Thank You Card out, for a job interview I had. I hope I get the job and hope he liked my card.



This card of roses I made a while back. I made it for a friend who was having health problems. She did get better thank the Good Lord, but it gave us all a good scare. Hope you like my cards.

 

Yesterday was a great day. I got to spend it with great friends and teachers from Cornerstone Women’s Job Corp. They have always helped me and have encouraged me to accomplish my dreams.
Thanks again Mrs Janet, Dewy, Robin, Kristin, Shannon, Melissa OMG the list goes on and on... So I'm sorry if I missed you. I got to meet a few new faces and of course they are wonderful people because they where their delivering a great lunch for the new CWJC class.

Bad Visit to Garden Ridge

Welcome back to Fort Worth Sis, we have been missing you and Jackie big time. My poor niece was not able to accompany her mom, my sister, on this visit. My kids and I will just have to make sure Jackie's momma has lots of fun to report back,  Hahaha.

Today we drove all over the place first from Rockwall to Dallas, Arlington then to Keller, then home for a good rest. Later in the evening we went back out to what was one of my  favorite Stores, Garden Ridge. But let me tell you I didn't enjoy that last stop!
First the stores radio was blasting and it played some weird music. Then they had some rude women yelling for her kids all thru the store. Hey Lady hold on to your wild kids! Let them run wild outside in your yard, ok!

It gets worse than that, GR had 50% off signs on a great big table of summery flowers. I thought I had found the mother load of cute flowers. But nooo not all the summer flowers are on sale.
OHHH NOOO I missed the small print, just the important part that read merchandize with the line thru the price was 50% off. Guess what I had to do? Yes I had to leave behind a bunch of cool flowers.

Oh well GR will no longer be anywhere close on the top of my favorite stores! With the holidays coming up fast that’s some Bad Bad advertising on their part. My sis was also tricked into thinking she has a few great bargains but ended up putting back half  the merchandize. GR  ruined our shopping day, and we will not be back.
