Baby Jacob Scrapbook

Here is my newest  baby boy scrapbook that I made for the daughter of a dear teacher Mrs Janet.  It will be a Christmas gift to her daughter and the new baby grandson, Jacob. I would be interested in knowing if you think it is way to glitzy. I love glitter and shiny things and I I know Mrs J does too, but not everyone does and since the scrapbook is for a baby boy I had a hard time knowing when to stop glittering, heeee.
This is the front cover with the giraffe theme.

A baby 1st photo goes on this 1st page.

 then the new baby info.

Its hard to see that the green is an picture frame cut out from my sizzix die cuts.

Here are tags.

Spaces for more pictures,
and here.

This is hard to see but the light green on the bottom of this page is pocket. You can also pull up the yellow bow and its a tag, one side you place a photo and the other side has room for baby highlights.

This is a door place holder on the other side its says do not disturb with a picture of a sleeping baby.

More pockets and places for baby pictures.

and more

and this is the last page.

This is the front again but I wanted you to see that the big blue bow is used as a tie back. It's holding the scrapbook closed and later it will hold it together as it gets loaded with many baby pictures.

The 23rd Psalm, Rest in Peace Benny

This is my cousin Benny memory card I made. Loly his daughter said she liked and chose this picture because it looks like her dad is saying good by to everyone.

She also chose The 23 Psalm, which I think everyone knows. But I hope everyone reads it because it has such a great message.
I do not know if you can tell but I  embossed the cards. I usedCuttlebug emboss A2 Bird Call, I thought the embossing could represent the valley from the psalm.

Today they will lay my cousin Benito C. Solis to his resting place.

Please everyone keep all your prayers and good thoughts for all

the Solis family.

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul:

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;

Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;

Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
RIP

La Rosita was in Garland, Texas

Wow what a great weekend I had, to bad it went by so fast! Spent time with my kids and got a chance to help them on their food truck, La Rosita. We where in Garland, Texas at the Wild West Cowboy Round-Up. They had plenty of crafts for the kids and show with a famous horse with his dog friends, they had been on the Letterman show! Woowoo, the weather was the best that we could have asked for and we also made new friends. Then The Rangers won on Sunday and so did the Dallas Cowboys. Wow Thank you Lord God for all our blessings. Americans don't forget we all need to keep on singing God Bless America. Go Rangers Go.

That and well the Rangers have gone up North to win  some more games, and the boss is trying to get back from his visit up north. So the north winds are here for this week, I love it!

Thank You Texas Rangers Baseball

Thank You Texas Rangers Baseball

I made this Thank You card but I do not know why I made so many! I guess I got side tracked while watching the Texas Rangers. Who would have thought that I would be watching baseball with out the kids. And better yet I enjoyed it, especially the third inning when they just got hit after hit and scored lots of points, wow! What have they done to me? I also loved  7th seventh when it was 4 to 13 Hahahaha these are my lucky numbers, and  ending the game with 5 to 15,  WOW,
 Go Rangers!

Tri Shutter card by Karensinspirations

This is a BIG WOW CARD:

Wow you all need to see this great card that I found on a new friends blog. Karen does great work and I will post her blog info so you can see more of her artwork, Thanks Karen!
This card was hand made by Karen

I will need to do more work before I can make this kind of artwork.
She used  beautiful fall stamps from Mark's finest papers then colored with copics and cut them out with spellbinders dies. You can find the tutorial on Split Coast resources.  Again great work, go check her out.
Thanks for stopping by. Edie
